As a membership-driven organization, MT NOW Members are involved at all levels of decision-making in our non-partisan, non-profit women’s human rights organization. Participants in these leadership and organizing roles are required by our By-Laws to be current MT NOW members. Members are essential to our nearly 60-year old National NOW feminist organization and movement to achieve gender, racial and economic equality and end all forms of discrimination. And protect not only women’s, but all human and civil rights.

POLITICAL ACTION TEAM – Because you care about campaigns to advance our 6 Priority women’s human rights issues? Want to recruit, educate, endorse, engage, and GOTV (Get Out the Vote) to elect our women’s human rights champion candidates? Interested in working with our state legislators to co-create policies, programs and budgets that advance the status of Montana’s women, girls and other under-represented persons? Want to influence and shape our women’s human rights agenda?

YOUNG FEMINIST TASK FORCE – Interested in meeting and engaging in activism with other young people ages 18-35? Want to share and take actions impacting the health, safety and economic fairness for young women, girls and gender-expansive people? Do you value inter-generational and multi-cultural communities? Ready to step up and make a difference in community with other young feminists?

LEADERSHIP TEAM – Our Executive Committee sets direction for overall goals and strategic plans for Montana NOW with collective leadership from Officers (President, Vice Presidents for Administration and Political Action, Treasurer, Membership Coordinator) and At-Large members. Is leadership in your future?

MOVEMENT-BUILDERS – MT NOW works collectively with numerous allied organizations that are in alignment with our 6 Priority Issues and with Collectives, Coalitions and Task Forces to have powerful and sustainable results to expand and protect our human rights, our democracy and defeat Project 2025 and Authoritarianism of the Trump regime.
